This is an amazing book and I can't recommend it enough. It's fun, it's quick, it's cute, but it also focuses on deeper topics with maturity and responsibility. I can only hope Kinsella writes more for the YA genre.

Seriously amazing, and amazingly serious, Finding Audrey stands out amongst other books in the YA genre for being realistic, which is my highest praise. I hope Kinsella continues to write for young adults, because we sure do need more books like this on the shelves!

A terrific blend of comedy, romance, and psychological recovery in a contemporary YA novel sure to inspire and entertain

A very enjoyable, uplifting read, with the perfect combination of friendship, anguish, romance and humour; in addition to the determined attitude Audrey takes when facing her illness. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a book that will make you laugh (and possibly cry), and leaves you triumphant at its finish.

This is a great book which tackles a difficult subject in a light-hearted,positive and sensitive way. I think this could be a book that all teens should read to give them a better understanding of people who live with mental illness.

Kinsella has achieved a great balance in Finding Audrey. Her trademark humour is brilliantly interspersed throughout the pages whilst maintaining respect for the main topic - this is principally due to the fact that it is Audrey's family who are the wonderful source of humour. Finding Audrey is a candid yet warm look at hectic family life through the eyes of a teenager dealing with a mental illness. Kinsella pitches it just right.

Never underestimate Kinsella . . . There are echoes of classic Judy Blume here and it’s all just lovely.

Hits just the right note, finding comedy, without making light of the issues its characters are facing.

Consistently raw and powerful… emotionally exhausting… But there’s a lot to be said for a novel which sets so much store by “affection and tenderness”, and in which the emotional peaks and the possibilities of redemption and renewal are marked by the simple holding of hands.

I love, love, love the Rushdie – I think it’s my favourite of his… The fantasy elements are just magical and, of course, it’s gorgeously written.

An apocalyptic battle between reason and unreason, good and evil, light and darkness, with all the bells and whistles of a Hollywood blockbuster.

Not only a beautifully written satire-as-fairytale but the subject matter is bang on trend… That Rushdie should still be writing so potently and still be continuing to push back the frontiers, when he could easily pull up a deck chair and languish on the frontiers he already owns is wonderful, inspirational and profoundly (but only in the best way) terrifying… 10/10, Master.

Ambitious, smart and dark fable that is full of rich and profound notions about human nature.

I like to think how many readers are going to admire the courage of this book, revel in its fierce colours, its boisterousness, humour and tremendous pizzazz, and take delight in its generosity of spirit.
